Custom Marble Vanity
Designed the Carrara marble vanity to have open fully tiled storage below.
- Mirrors are polished chrome and pivot
- 6" white wall tile runs from floor to ceiling behind and adjacent to vanity
- Polished chrome wall mount lavatory faucets
- Built-in storage cabinet on the right of the vanity
Clerestory Windows
Gutted two smaller ¾ baths and created one larger full bath with a separate shower and tub. I wanted to pull some natural light in to the space by adding clerestory windows to the water closet, which housed the only window in the room. To keep some symmetry on the wall I added a smaller clerestory window to the shower.
- White 6" square tile wainscoting runs ¾ up the wall
- Used a darker paint color to offset the stark white wainscoting tile
- Wanted the space to feel open, airy and larger
- Installed programmable in-floor heating
Air Bath
The goal of the project was to keep clean lines and a slightly modern feel without creating a "cold" space.
- Installed an air tub that would allow for the use of salts/oils/bubble baths
- Built-in niche for soaps, sponges & candles
- Walls behind tub are floor to ceiling 6" white tile
- Tub deck is 12" Carrara marble tile
- Tub skirt is 6" white tile (consistent with all vertical surfaces)
